Yes! Of course! Emergency First Aid is WorkSafeBC approved. As a Training Partner and Affiliate of the Red cross and Life Saving Society, we are authorized to issue OFA Level 1 equivalents that are accepted in lieu of OFA.Â
Absolutely! First Aid Near Me is happy to issue recertifications for any former Red Cross, St John’s Ambulance, Heart and Stroke or Life Saving Society certificate. Please present to your instructor on the day of your course.Â
Instructors will issue a temporary certificate immediately after the successful completion of any of our courses. In the following 4-6 weeks, you’ll receive your official certificate via email.Â
All of the courses provided by First Aid Near Me are certified through either the Red Cross, Life Saving Society or the Canadian Safety Council (youth courses specifically). FANM is an authorized Training Partner and Affiliate of the Red Cross and the Life Saving Society.
All First Aid Courses are designed for those 13+ years old. Too young for those? We also have the Home Alone Program (10+ years old) and the Babysitting course (12+ years old) available on a regular basis.Â
Basic Life Support is a new course that replaces Health Care Provider First Aid. Think of these two as being identical courses just with a new and improved name.Â
